Three arrested in Troup County narcotics investigation on Handley Street

Three people are facing multiple felony charges following a narcotics investigation that led to the execution of a search warrant in LaGrange.

According to a news release from the Troup County Sheriff’s Office, investigators with the agency’s Narcotics Division and Criminal Investigations Division, along with the LaGrange Police Department Special Investigations Unit, executed a search warrant at an apartment on Handley Street around 10:00 a.m. on April 22, 2026. The warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into illegal narcotics sales.

Authorities say three individuals were taken into custody during the operation.

Terry Lamar McDaniel, 45, is charged with:

  • Trafficking Methamphetamine (3 counts)
  • Sale of Methamphetamine (2 counts)
  • Manufacturing, dispensing, or possessing with intent to distribute a controlled substance near a housing project (3 counts)
  • VGCSA – Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance
  • Tampering with Evidence

Wendy Renee Traylor, 38, is charged with:

  • Trafficking Methamphetamine (3 counts)
  • Sale of Methamphetamine (2 counts)
  • Manufacturing, dispensing, or possessing with intent to distribute a controlled substance near a housing project (3 counts)
  • VGCSA – Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance

Coreycia Quenshunda Spratling, 34, is charged with:

  • VGCSA – Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance
  • Manufacturing, dispensing, or possessing with intent to distribute a controlled substance near a housing project
  • Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime

Officials have not released additional details about the investigation, including whether more arrests are expected.
