A high speed chase ended in Columbus Friday night.

Numerous law enforcement officials, most of them from the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, are on the scene of the end of the chase.

The chase ended on Cusseta Road near Elizabeth Canty Homes around 10:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24. 2026.

Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman said a wanted female fled from deputies and was taken into custody.

A law enforcement presence remains on scene.
