Tennessee man arrested for solicitation of a child, dissemination of child sexual abuse materials

A Tennessee man is in the Lee County Jail on multiple charges tied to a child sexual abuse material investigation.

Charles Levi Weaver, 37, of Sequatchie, Tenn., was arrested on April 30, 2026, by officials with the Auburn Police Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol Special Investigations Bureau.

Weave was arrested following an investigation surrounding evidence that indicated he had engaged in unlawful online communication with a minor and distributed prohibited material in violation of Alabama law.

Weaver was initially taken into custody on April 24 by the Tennessee Highway Patrol Special Investigations Bureau.

He later waived extradition and was transported to the Auburn Police Department on April 30 where arrest warrants were executed for the charges of electronic solicitation of a child and three counts of dissemination of child sexual abuse material.

Weaver was transported to the Lee County Jail where he is being held on a $90,000 bond.
