Columbus police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Monday morning.

The stabbing occurred at the Lucky Food Mart, which is located in the 2000 block of Floyd Road in the east end of the city.

The victim was injured and transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

The suspect, whose identity is unknown, was taken into custody.
