Emergency crews responded Thursday night to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of Citi Trends on 13th Street in Phenix City.

CNAW2News.com came upon the scene while leaving another crash investigation in the area. The driver of the vehicle appeared to safely exit the vehicle and call 911 before first responders arrived.

Emergency crews arrived shortly afterward and worked to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.

The fire was eventually put out, and the scene was cleared.
