Columbus police are investigating an overnight shooting.

The shooting occurred around 1:40 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026, in the 5200 Hamilton Road — where several different businesses are located.

Police say one person was injured in the incident. The victim’s condition is critical.

No arrests have been made and the Columbus Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit has taken lead in the investigation.
