Fort Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department thanks community for support of 51st Annual BBQ

The Fort Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department is expressing its gratitude to the community following the success of its 51st Annual BBQ fundraiser.

In a message shared after the event, the department thanked everyone who attended, purchased barbecue plates, made donations, volunteered their time, and helped spread the word about the annual fundraiser.

“Your support means so much to our department and helps us continue serving and protecting our community,” the department said.

Fire officials also congratulated the winners of this year’s raffle and thanked all participants who purchased tickets and contributed to the fundraiser’s success.

The department recognized several businesses and organizations whose donations and support helped make the event possible, including FMTPH, Kappa Alpha Sigma Rhoer Club of Columbus, GA, Ice Dreams, Omaha Brewery, Outback Steakhouse, LongHorn Steakhouse, SWTR LLC., and Skydive ATL.

“A special thank you goes out to our generous supporters and donors,” the department said. “Your support helped make this event possible, and we truly appreciate your contribution to our department and community.”

The Fort Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department said it remains proud to serve the Fort Mitchell community and emphasized that its continued success depends on the support, encouragement, and trust of local residents.

“Thank you again for your continued support, encouragement, and trust. We are proud to serve Fort Mitchell, and we could not do what we do without our community,” the department said.

The annual BBQ serves as one of the department’s longstanding community events and helps support its mission of providing fire protection and emergency services throughout the Fort Mitchell area.
