Multiple Lee County deputies are on the scene of an armed robbery Saturday night.

The incident is taking place at the Marathon gas station at the intersection of Lee Road 379 and U.S. Highway 280.

Reports of a law enforcement presence began coming in around 11 p.m. CST on Saturday, and the presence was still seen around 11:34 p.m.

Investigators appear to walking in and out of the store. A white male and a black male entered the store with one brandishing a large knife and the other a handgun, according to officials. The offenders demanded money from the register. The assailants made off with between $200.00 and $300.00 in U.S. currency.
