Future Lee County Sheriff Cam Hunt releases statement following wife’s arrest

CNAW Newsroom —
Future Lee County Sheriff Cam Hunt releases statement following wife’s arrest

Future Lee County Sheriff Cam Hunt has released a public statement following the arrest of his wife, Aggie Kalyn Hunt, on a domestic violence charge.

According to jail records, Aggie Kalyn Hunt was arrested and charged with domestic violence. She was later released on a $1,000 bond.

In a statement provided following the arrest, Hunt described the incident as a “private family matter” and asked the public to respect his family’s privacy during the situation.

“This is a private family matter involving people I love and care about deeply,” Hunt said. “Out of respect for everyone involved, I will not be discussing details publicly or engaging in speculation online. I understand there will naturally be commentary and rumors, but I would ask people to remember that my family deserves privacy, grace, and dignity during a difficult moment.”

Hunt also addressed concerns about the well-being of his family.

“I also want people to know that I’m fine, the kids are fine, and Kalyn is fine,” Hunt said. “While this situation has unfortunately become public, it is still a deeply personal matter for our family. My focus right now is on my children, my family, and moving forward appropriately. I appreciate the concern, prayers, and support from those who have reached out.”

No additional details surrounding the incident have been publicly released at this time.
