LaGrange Police and the Troup County Coroner’s Office are investigating the second accident related crash this year which left a woman dead and a man suffering minor injuries.

LaGrange Police were dispatched at 4:58PM on January 25, 2022 to the fatal traffic collision which occurred on Pegasus Parkway at W. Lukken Industrial Drive.

Detectives working the preliminary investigation says that Driver #1, who is the deceased female, was travelling south on Lukken Industrial Drive when she failed to stop at stop sign located at the intersection with Pegasus Parkway. The female proceeded past the stop sign striking Vehicle #2, which was westbound on Pegasus Parkway.

The driver of vehicle two was transported to Wellstar West Georgia for minor injuries. The identity of the deceased female will be released once next of kin is notified.
