Columbus police are on the scene of an accident investigation Sunday morning.

The accident was first reported to CNAW2News.com around 8:51 a.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the McDonald’s, located at 5628 Milgen Road.

At 8:51 a.m., law enforcement officers with the Columbus Police Department had established crime scene tape around the accident scene which was located at the dumpsters.

When CNAW2News.com crews arrived, three police cruisers were spotted on scene, along with a tow truck. A white Audi appeared to have been crashed into the dumpster area, with no apparent major damage to the vehicle.

The scene was eventually cleared around 10:30 a.m. and McDonald’s has reopened.

At this time, there is no word on injuries related to the crash.
