Original story: An active search involving multiple agencies is underway this afternoon in Troup and Harris counties.

The search is underway for a missing father and toddler on a family kayaking trip, multiple sources have confirmed to CNAW2News.com. Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Harris County Fire and EMS, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Lifesaver 3, Troup County Fire Department, Troup County Sheriff’s Office, and West Point Police Department are all on the scene.
