A Phenix City woman wanted in a May deadly shooting has been taken into custody.
Tisha Anna Gibson, 45, was arrested on September 25, 2026, on a charge of fugitive from justice and booked into the Muscogee County Jail, according to jail records.
Gibson was wanted in connection with the May 11 deadly shooting of Harvey Lee Walker at the Colonial Inn hotel on Highway 280 Bypass.
Following the shooting, Phenix City police identified Gibson and another woman, Tionne Carreker, as the homicide suspects.
Carreker was arrested in Junction City, Georgia, without incident shortly after the shooting. During the investigation, a third subject, LaVincent Harris, was also arrested, and charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana in the first degree.
Gibson had been on the run from law enforcement for over 130 days. Once extradited back across the river into Phenix City, she will face charges of capital murder.
According to public court records, a court hearing has not yet been scheduled.
