Phenix City police are investigating an incident Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred on Sixth Court at 19th Street, which is a residential area off of Summerville Road, around 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.

A large crime scene was established around the intersection.

Patrol officers and investigators with the police department’s criminal investigations division were on the scene.

A tan sedan was towed from the scene with evidence tape on the vehicle’s doors.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident. The scene was eventually cleared around 6 p.m.
