A Sunday evening crash has left one injured and multiple campers damaged.

The crash occurred around 6:35 p.m. eastern time on April 18, on U.S. Highway 280 at Camping World.

Authorities say a blue SUV heading toward Opelika crossed the median, crashed through the fence and into at least two campers at the RV dealership.

Smiths Station Fire Chief Blake Green said their Medic One ambulance transported the driver to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation.

We are told all employees are OK.
