Phenix City fire crews extinguished an overnight structure fire.

The fire was reported around 1:54 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at a home in the 1300 block of 17th Court near Pine Street — which is in a residential neighborhood off of Crawford Road.

Heavy smoke and flames could be seen billowing from the areas while crews worked. Midday Wednesday, CNAW2News.com visited the site and saw remnants of the house with extreme fire damage to it.

No injuries were reported. It’s unclear how the fire started.
