Large police presence underway on Baker Plaza Dr. following reported officer-involved shooting

A large police presence is underway in south Columbus.

The presence is taking place on Baker Plaza Drive at the old Muscogee County Elementary School.

CNAW2News.com crews heard the gunfire while at a homicide scene down the street on Victory Drive.

At least two ambulances, a ladder truck and a fire engine responded to the scene, along with a massive amount of police cruisers.

A black sedan was surrounded by law enforcement in the school parking lot.

Top brass from the Columbus Police Department are also on scene, including Assistant Chief Lance Deaton, Deputy Chief Roderick Graham, and others.
