A wild afternoon in Smiths Station after chase came through multiple residential areas.

The chase – which involved a silver sedan and multiple Lee County deputies – began on Lee Road 236 around 1:59 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026.

The chase was spotted on Wynn Road, U.S. Highway 80, Lee Road 213, Lee Road 219, multiple business parking lots, and a residential area near the intersection of Lee Road 215 and Lee Road 240.

The chase came to an end around 2:10 p.m. behind a home in the 200 block of Lee Road 215.

The male driver was taken into custody by Lee County deputies. His identity and exact charges remain unknown. CNAW2News.com is working to receive that information.
