A large law enforcement presence is underway at a Columbus apartment complex.

The presence is happening at Springfield Crossing apartment complex, located at 3320 North Lumpkin Road.

Reports of gunfire began coming in around 11:25 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Several police cruisers are on scene with crime scene tape roping off a large section of the complex’s parking lot.

Ambulances and fire crews are on the scene.
