A local medical assistant at a Columbus clinic is facing over 240 charges, including obtaining, attempting to obtain dangerous drugs by fraud, forgery, or concealment of fact.
The medical assistant, identified as 35-year-old Kelli A. Goodwin, was booked into the Muscogee County Jail on September 20, 2022, at 9:36 P.M. Goodwin has worked in the medical field since 2010 as a certified phlebotomist and medical assistant, according to the ACE website. She was arrested on a felony warrant which had 242 charges, including obtaining, attempting to obtain dangerous drugs by fraud, forgery, or concealment of fact and acquire/obtain possession of controlled substance by misrepresentation fraud/forgery/deception and subte, according to Muscogee County jail records.
