A two-vehicle crash Friday evening has resulted in the closure of both lanes of Lee County 188 near Lee County 78.

The crash occurred at approximately 6:44 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), both lanes of Lee County 188 are blocked and will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are on scene investigating the crash and will continue to monitor the situation.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and seek an alternate route until the roadway is reopened.
