Multiple Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office deputies were spotted at Peachtree Mall on Manchester Expressway Thursday afternoon as authorities reportedly searched for a subject.
CNAW2News crews observed deputies surrounding a brown sedan in the mall parking lot around 12:30 p.m. The driver’s side door of the vehicle was open.
Multiple sheriff’s office patrol vehicles were also positioned near entrances throughout the mall.
CNAW2News was told deputies were at the mall searching for a subject. The circumstances surrounding the search remain unclear.
CNAW2News has reached out to the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office for additional information.
As of 1:35 p.m., the law enforcement presence remained active at the mall.
